Our Thanksgiving 2011

This year, we spent our Thanksgiving in Iowa with Mama's side of the family.   It was great getting together with family again. It has been quite a while since we've seen them.  Here's some photos of our trip:

This is all just snacks!
Most people do a "taste test" but I don't know if this quite qualifies!  :)
"Samo"
After the meal, all of the men went out shooting.
We shot the 30-06.
I shot a 12 gauge.
Mama even shot the 30-06.
River, ready to shoot.
Grandpa brought his .44 pistol.  It's got enough kick to nearly knock you down!
Papa shooting the .44.
Jeremiah skeet shooting.
That night, we had a big fire.
The next day right before we left, I saw this squirrel up in a tree and climbed up after him.  He ended up running to a branch that he couldn't jump from, so I was able to get some good close-ups.
...Not sure what to do.
His master plan of escape...straight down the trunk!
