Texas Ho!

Last week we were gone in Texas.  We left Sunday, late in the afternoon, and arrived early afternoon on Monday.  We went on a business trip with Papa and one of his friends. The purpose of our trip was to sell syrup to some Texas grocery stores. We left our stock with the Heaneys so that they can market it.  Here are some photos that I took of our time there:

We did lots of things on the way, one, of course, was sleeping!

We stayed with them Monday afternoon and left Tuesday night. We had lots of fun and played a lot of games.
One of these included sword fighting and wars.
While we were there, it happened to be Mrs. Beach's birthday.  Her Mom and Dad came over and brought this cake.
They had trick candles that relight themselves after being blown out. It was hilarious to watch.

After we left the Beach's, we went to the Heaney's.  They are the family that we plan to work with for selling Old Heritage Maple Syrup down in Texas.  They live out in the country and have lots of animals.
They have cows...
...chickens...
...turkeys...
They usually gather 80-120 eggs daily, depending on the weather.
...2 outdoor cats..
...and 6 dogs.
Some of them even know how to smile!
Oh! And they also have two playful kittens. (Bubba and Sissy)
While we were there, we built some wooden block forts for the army men.

After we finished building them, we took turns trying to shoot the army men down with rubber bands.  You should have seen it after we finished!
We called the kitty "black panther". It seemed like she purposely ran through to mess up the army men!
INTENSE!

We had a wonderful trip down south.

Thank you Beach and Heaney families for opening up your homes and for the fellowship.  We will never forget it!  We miss "y'all".
